Anyone know about adding negative hours?
I need to do a seemingly simple sum that calculates the hours entered in 2 columns. However, I need this to allow for hours being expressed as negative values - Essentially I'm working with 4 columns: Column D: a 'carried forward' no. of hours from column G of previous row Column E: no. of hours allocated that month Column F: adds columns D & E for total number of hours allocated Column G: draws an 'hours used' value from a time tracking worksheet. I've formatted cells as hh:mm, and i have no problem when values are positive, however, if column G excedes column F, then column D of next row needs to show negative value, and column F needs to deal with this in the sum. Any help much appreciated! |
