How do I produce a drop down list in Excel where i hace eg a choice of 10 numbers to enter into a cell. It must also be the size of a cell and not a large form like object.
Also how do I edit one of these Please help. |

What are you trying to do with the lists and where are you putting them?

On a separate sheet from where you want the list to appear, type in your numbers in, say, cells A1:A10. Select the cells and name them MyList (say). On the sheet select the cell(s) where you want the drop-down to appear and click on Data-Validation. Change the Allow to 'List' and in the source box, type in =MyList.
Edit: To change the values in the list simply type in a new value in your orignial list. Hope this is OK. [ This Message was edited by: Mudface on 2002-02-28 08:24 ] |
