I have Excel2000 installed on a WinMe laptop.
If the laptop is connected to the network, I can't open Excel (starting but freeze during loading) If I disconnect it from the network Excel is loading without any problem. Any ideea how can I fix that problem? Thanks |

It could be that the default file location is set to a network path that is no longer available (Tools | Options | General > Default File Location). Try setting it to "c:My Documents" or "c:Documents and SettingsyouracctnameMy Documents". Or the network path has security on it that you aren't getting around.
Unfortunately, this incident involves networking; therefore, it is billed at $245 an incident. Nonetheless, I am confident that Microsoft support can solve this issue. Call them at 425-635-7056 and set up a case.

Mark
Does Cocar get his/her money back if MS cannot solve his/her problem? I believe that (s)he will have to pay up front for the "incident", is this correct? (PS forums like this are set up because people do not wish to pay MS's ridiculous prices for "support".) _________________ [b] Mark O'Brien [ This Message was edited by: Mark O'Brien on 2002-08-10 09:21 ] |
