font size in drop down box

When I validate data from a list (data, validation, settings – allow list, source e.g. fridge,stores,lab, and all the error message stuff).

It all works fine, but the text in the drop down box is far too small.

How do I make it bigger?

You don't.

What you need to do is re-size the rest of workbook fonts and cells.

A big mistake a lot of people make (I'm not saying your one of them) is if they find the cell fonts too small they increase them.

It'd be better to increase the %Zoom to accommodate the sheet.

The best size for regular fonts is 10pts and for headers I'd use no more than 14pts unless it the sheet title.

The above advice, is best practice for most layouts (Any application).
