Does anyone know the name of the software (or simply how to do it) that allows one to 'map' a spreadsheet, showing which columns are copies, where new formulae start, and dependencies?

Hello again,
I might not have made myself clear. What I am looking for is an audit tool for those coming to a spreadsheet created by someone else. The spreadsheet could repeat a calculation over a number of years, or a number of categories, and the auditor needs to know which columns are simply copies of the furthest left column (for example), and where the formula changes form. Any recognition that someone has come across something like this would be good! _________________ Regards, Mike. [ This Message was edited by: sann0638 on 2002-05-22 02:05 ] |

Hi Ian,
I've now found what I'm looking for, at http://www.uq.net.au/detective. It's called spreadsheet detective, and will be of use to anyone who has had to take over or debug a large (nonVBA) spreadsheet from someone else.
