I have data in 2 spreadsheets that I want to put together but Im having difficulty
what I ahve is something like File 1: ID Name 123 John 234 Jim 456 Mary 678 Jane 890 Bill File2: ID Item 123 Chips 123 snacks 123 Chocs 234 biscuits 234 cakes what I want is ID Name and Item on one sheet so I would like to have have: ID Name Item 123 John Chips 123 John snacks 123 John Chocs 234 Jim biscuits 234 Jim cakes This is obviously only an example, but I have a couple of thousand records I have tried filtering and merging but no joy. Can anyone help Thanks |

I suspect the easiest approach would be a VLOOKUP on one of the sheets. Adam |
