The first row is so small that I cannot see it. Tried to unhide it, that did not work. Tried to auto-height all rows, it still would not show up. Tried to delete the 2nd row and the 1st row. Only 2nd row deleted. Went to edit menu, said goto cell A1 and it would go there, but couldn't unhide or delete from there either. It's the weirdest thing. Any help would be appreciated.

Highlight row 2 and drag up to the top of the sheet. now select
format/row/height, and make it 12. [ This Message was edited by: Qroozn on 2002-05-21 15:56 ] |

Still can't unhide the row. Doesn't seem to have any VBA code. When I go to cell A1 and try to insert a row, instead of inserting above cell A1, it inserts below....

GoTo the Window drop down on the menu bar and make sure you do not have Freeze Panes or Split activated. If you don't, it will sat Split and Freeze Panes, otherwise, it will say Remove Split or Unfreeze Panes.
Some of your description sounds like Freeze Panes is on. However, I can insert a line above my Freeze Panes row. So, still a mystery. Drop a line if you discover the cause. Philip |
