Vs. win 98, excel vs. 97
Each time I open or close excel, I get an error message "Compile error in hidden module. RegistrationDB." Under help, it says a protected module can't be displayed. It says it can't be displayed because the project is protected. How do I reslove this issue? |

Tools > Addins Look down the List for Addins you Don't require or need. Deselect them or ALL ? since you don't know which one. Close and reopen excel. See if this helps out ?? |

perhaps in your personal workbook ?? In the VBA Editor see if there are ANY other Workbooks besides the one that is currently Open.....If you have removed All Addins there Should be NOTHING other then your Wrokbook. If there is...then this is your problem file [Get back to me] If not then (Guess) look in your references Tools > References See if there are any Project Files referenced [Get back to me] |

Compile error in hidden module RegistrationDB
This i have seen before and relates to an add in from Adobe called PDFWRITE.xla, remove it from the add in tools / add in you see a box un tick it. Pdfwrite.xla is in the C:Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeOfficeXlstart folder uf my poor memory serves me right so you must remove the Pdfwrite.xla file from this root. PDFWrite is Adobe reader, and this will be in module most prob password protected. Some software loads this as standard to make them work. Poss version conflict of excel to the VBA codes, you need to upgrade Excel to 2000 or XP MARKER Compile error in hidden module RegistrationDB (to MCSE board also)
