Excel 97 Bar Charts
Data: Comparing two different years of data On a bar chart display ...How do you include both the data labels (at the top of each section of the displayed bars from data ) and also display show the percent of change from comparing two years of data (both shown at same time) |

I think you need another serie, which holds the % of increase from one year to another. You can set that serie to chart as a line, and make it "invisible" (No line, no tick), and it would display the data you would need.

In creating a Excel 97 Bar Chart, I need to add both data labels and percent of change (comparing two different years of data)for each column displayed within chart. I tried: --to draw in the percentage via a text box on the chart --Utilized for the Source of Data 3 columns of data 2001, 2002 and % of Change Each time when I click inside the chart with regard to the percentage portion of this problem .. a window pops up which states: Microsoft Excel "NOT ENOUGH MEMORY" Machine is a Dell Optiplex GX150 with 256 RAM 1.4 Gig Processor. Virtual memory states I still have 81% free resources. Is there a memory cap for Excel 97? Can you suggest anything further? Thank You |
