Absolute references not wanted

Hi

When i copy a cell from one workbook to another it automatically puts the dollar signs around that cell so it remains fixed in the new workbook. Is there a way of removing the dollar signs quickly or even not having the dollar signs come in when you copy the cell?

When you edit the cell you can hot the F4 key and it will toggle the $ before the cell reference. Keep hitting F4 until you have the desired $ configuration.
Pretty fast.
