We are using EssBase 5.02 revision 11 and from what research I have done there are no VBA links for this until version 6.5, which is just out or will be coming out.
I want to have VBA use the menu commands from the EssBase menu, but when I do a record-macro it can not record those entries. ------------------- Is there a way to program in VBA the same effect as I guess it is not possible, but this board's knowledge of Excel and VBA has surprised me in the past. Thanks, Philip |

Yes, it should be possible. Look up the SendKeys function in VBA help.

I'm glad it was so simple. Always amazed.
I got my button created and it works fine. Novice users will like the new functionality a lot. Thank-you very much. Philip |
