Is there some way to control the default font and size that comes up on headers and footers?
We use Arial, 10 as a standard spreadsheet font here in the office, but we like to increase the font size and make the print bold on any footers we place on printed documents. Is there some way to avoid having to change every footer that we create? Thanks Steve |

You can amend the template Excel workbook that is opened each time you use Excel. I am not at my usual PC so cannot give you the standard file path. The tempalte as I recall has to named "Book" and this does the trick.

Open a blank sheet and use Page Setup to adjust the headers and footers to what you require and then save it as a template called Book in your XLStart folder. The path to this may be C:Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeOfficeXLStart.
