I am using the autofilter to subset my master database, except that certain columns are no longer needed in subset. I am not allowed to delete the columns while filter is on and if i try to hide them, they still show up when i copy and paste relevant info! Any suggestions, am i approaching this wrong?
thanks |

this might not be what you need but would sorting the data (and use options, sort left to right) help at all?

You might try using MS Query. You can specify which columns you retrieve and limit the data rows by using criteria and parameters. I suggest working without the wizard for more flexibility. Here is a link that might be useful.
