invoice records

HI everyone.
I have the same invoice sheet I use for each customer, saved as a separate filename, all in the same folder.
Is there any way of sending the data in certain cells from the invoice to a central sheet, for example, date, name, amount. As the central sheet will already contain rows of data,form the previous invoices can these new inputs be put in the next available row without altering the existing rows. I would like to create a macro or something to put on the invoice sheet, that would update the central sheet as Im creating the new invoice.
