Hi again,
I have two questions please, 1) How do I remove the first three digits of a phone number that has ten digits in them,(not all of the phone numbers have the area code). 2) I have a combobox with names in them, as I begin to type the name in, it populates the combobox with the name that match the letters that I have typed in. I have another combobox set the same way for phone numbers, but it doesnt show the numbers that match the first digits that are typed in. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your time and help, Jim |

Woops missed the 1st part of your Q
Just try Testing for the string len then put in a routine to cut it back via the use of the string functions eg Right$. |

Hi Ivan, Tried the match entry. It's not the problem. I have tried everything that I know (very little, I know).
Thanks for the reply, Jim |
