How do I merge several excel files into one. They are all the same format as far as data contained in the individual columns.

If the data is not to many cells I would select the required cells and just copy and past over.
I say this as you sate the headers are all OK and align correctly. Sorry no magical fix, this is the simplest way I feel.

"Consolidating" the data may also be an option....
check out "consolidating data" in the help index, choosing "Guidelines for specifying source areas for a consolidation" from the list of options
