In rows 6 thru 203 I am entering information, and that info is distributed throughout several areas which are as follows:
ROWS 206 THRU 246 ROWS 249 THRU 289 ROWS 292 THRU 332 ROWS 335 THRU 375 ROWS 378 THRU 461 ROWS 464 THRU 504 Is there a way that I can add a row after Rows 204,246,289,332,375,461 & 504 if the other rows contain info. in them? (206 THRU 246 IS FULL I NEED A NEW ROW NOW) And also if the rows are not full could I move up the other rows, such as if I am entering this info in rows 6 thru 25 and I am not using the other could I hide them. and would this still hold my formulas? Thanks in advance!! |

Hi mcfly:
I do not fully understand what youare trying to accomplish. When you say 'can I add a row' after a particular row ... You can always INSERT a row above any row you like. Are you looking for an automated VBA solution -- such that if a certain condition is met, add a row above? Also, when you ask 'whether the formulas will work if you hide some rows' ... Yes, the formulas will continue to work, even if a row is hidden. 'Whether the formulas will work if you insert a row', generally speaking, Excel will adjust the cell references in the formulas if you insert a row. I hope this helps. If you can be more specific, I am sure you will get helpful responses. Regards!
