I have a column of numbers that were brought in from a data base. Some of the numbers have two, or three spaces before the number.
How can I get rid of the spaces before the numbers? Thanks for your time, Jim |

Your numbers are being entered as text.
If, for instance, your numbers are in Cells A1 to A10, select this range, right click, choose copy, right click again, choose paste special, choose Add, then Ok. This will change your numbers from text to numeric ridding you of your leading and or trailing spaces. Tom [ This Message was edited by: TsTom on 2002-05-25 01:01 ] |
