How do I change the interval for the row height on an excel spreadsheet. On one computer I can change the row height in increments of 0.25 (10.25, 10.50, 10.75, 11.00). On another computer I can change the row height in increments of 0.125(10.1, 10.2, 10.4, 10.5, 10.7, 10.8, 11.0) Is there a way to change this or is it determined by the version of excel on the computer.

You may be up against operating system differences.
Or, perhaps, the user has set the system font to Large. I have seen some funky behaviors from one identical computer to another, the hardware was identical, but the spreadsheet would only look the same if one system had the spreadsheet Zoom at 100%, the other had Zoom at 85%. Seemed to go away after making sure all systems were using Windows Regular Size font. The problem was on NT, Win2K seemed to be consistent. If you dig deep enough at MSDN, they acknowledge minor variations in fonts can cause problems, my guess is that variations in font and font sizing can effect other things as well. |
