I have a spreadsheet with vlookups on it when i update the replace the data the vlookup formulas change to #refs is there a way to not update the vlookups till after the update? Any Ideas?

Try switching your calculation mode to manual. (tools->options->calculation, etc...)

Have tried that Didn't work so now I just have a macro to re do the vlookups just nasty.
