HI! Bear with me here-
What would the formula be if I want to have a cell automatically become bold-faced, if another cell has a number equal to or higher than 3? Thanks so much! |

I would suggest adding conditional formatting to the cells that you which to make bold if greater than 3 to
Then as you edit the range they will react Remember to con for mat all the range to bold, not just the top cell as is often done.

Hey, I need a 'main' cell to become bold, corresponding to an 'other' cell that has a value equal to or greater than 3. So, what I mean is, when this 'other' cell has the number 3 in it, the 'main' cell will become bold. They are two seperate cells. Get it? Please help me! Thank you!

Got it, except which cell is the main cell and which cell is the other cell . Lets say that A1 is the main cell and B1 the other cell. Activate A1. Activate Format|Conditional Formatting. Select Formula Is for Condition 1. Enter as formula: =$B$1>=3 Activate Format. Select bold from the Font tab. Activate OK, OK.
