I want to print pricelabels in Excel. Therefore I use a A4 sheet with 21
labels on (3 colums and 7 rows). It should be possible to print different quantities (for example 1 label 10 times, another labels 6 times and another label 3 times) on 1 sheet at once. In my worksheet I have a cell where I can enter a number of an article, and the description and the price of this a article appears in the cells below. How do I work this out (in a simple way)? |

Have you thought of using the excel spreadsheet as the database but using the labels option of "Mail Merge" in word as the front end ?

Quite simply I would suggest using WORD as a male merge / print labels to do this, and make excel the data source. Its quick as simpler.
To answer YES Excel can do this, but this is WORD best feature. Suggest a look at dreamboats site if you need more assistance, there she has it well detailed thewordexpert.com Will get you there. HTH |

If these labels are price tags, you may want to consider, some thing like Avery Label sheets, with the label sizes pre set for you on an A4 or 8.5" x 11" sheet designed for use with inkjet and/or laser printers. If this is the route you want to take, and you want further help in setting up your labels, please post back with your questions, and let us take it from there. Regards!

It would not be simple to set up to print, for instance, 3 of one label and 5 of another, and so on, using a Mail merge with Word. If that is your purpose, then stick with Yogi here. However, you can print as many copies of the label sheets you want, for instance, 5 copies of the labels = 5 copies of each label, one on each set of sheets. Sounds like you need Yogi's help if I understand you correctly. Good luck!
