I wrote an excel VBA program on Excel 97.
It fails on another machine running the same version and the same operating system. Says it can't load object. The object it can't load (I'm assuming) is the common dialog control. I am also assuming the ocx is not registered on that machine. Is that because it was not installed when excel was installed? Another reason may be that I have VB 6 on my machine and used a different version ocx? I don't know. Thank you for the help. |

Unless I read that wrong it says he wasn't using that control but it was marked that he was. I AM using that control. I tried adding the control on a number of machines in my office running the same version and operating system. I could check the component but when I put my mouse over it in the toolbox the tool tip says "unknown". I am going to try registering it and see what happens. Thank you
