Graph - axis (No reply ??????)

Posted by Stephen W Allenberg on February 04, 2002 6:05 PM

I have created a graph of the equation i=a/(t+b)^c
and the Y axis values (i)-(vertical)are fine however I wish to change the X axis values (t) - horizontal values to read from zero to a certain value (constant increment) which will be the entered value ie 0, 10, 20 etc and not the numerical entry ie first entry - 1, second - 2, etc etc

Regards
Stephen

Double click on your value axis, select scale, insert your constant increment in the major unit box eg 10 and your highest value in the maximum box eg 100, your x axis on your graph will then read 0,10,20,30 etc

Re: Graph - axis (X axis - not Y axis)

I have done what you have suggested, however this only seems to work on the Y Axis (not the X axis)which does not have the same criteria to select

Re: Graph - axis (X axis - not Y axis)

Sorry I misunderstood you..... use a X-Y scatter chart, you WILL be able to alter the values on both the X and Y axes.
