Inherited worksheet question

Posted by James Savery on January 29, 2002 6:25 AM

I have inherited a workbook with multiple sheets in it. One of the sheets contains data which is used by the other sheets in the workbook to generate charts. The chart worksheets have a chart within it and the rest of the sheet is "solid gray" (perimeter). You cannot enter data, nor can you get any properties of the sheet.

The workbook is OK and functional, I just don't know how this presentation was created, and how/why it is like this.

Your help/explanation is appreciated.

A chart can be located on a sheet of its own or
as an embedded object in a standard worksheet.
Right click on the chart in question and choose
"Location" from the popup menu to alter the
placement of the chart.
