Marco to insert a check mark

I need a Marco to put a check mark in a cell when you click the cell with the mouse, and if the cell already has a check mark to remove it, I know that you can format the cell with the font Marlett and it will show a check mark for the letter “a”, so I guest what I need is for the Marco to insert or remove the letter “a” when the mouse is clicked, this only needs to happen in column B. Can this be done? Thanks to everyone who takes the time to help out on this board.

Any reason why you wouldn't just use the checkbox facility from the Form toolbar? seems to be the easiest option.

The “a” in column B will be used to calculate other things, if B? =a then a Marco will move the data in column A to a new sheet, if I use a check box I think I would have to put one for each row and link each one to a cell, the only way I know how to do this is one at a time, this would take a lot of time to do for around 500 rows.
