Is there a way to set column widths when you open a delimited file.

I am wondering if anyone knows if there is a way of opening a delimited file and somehow have the columns set already.

I get information sent to me in a delimited format. I have the output layout and up until now i have been physically inserting a break in, for example position "49" then putting a break in "143". I have to do this for about another 75 breaks. Does anyone know of any quicker way to do this??
