VB extension of Data Validation

I hav a list of Tanks that i use as part of a VLOOKUP - but the lookup is prone to typos - is there some sort of way that i can have a message box appear if the tank entered is not in the - i know i could u iserror, and others - but that just seems to be a long winded approach - and the code is complex enough without adding to it..!
Any help would be greatful

You could use the data validation feature and select list as you validation. This would create a drop list of only the Tanks in your list speeled correctly. Let me know if you need help with this feature.
