excel number pad opening AOL

I do not know what I did, but suddenly one day while inputing data on a spread sheet my AOL program opened without warning. After a short time I found that whenever I pressed the number 1 key on number pad section of the key board my AOL program opens. It is driving me crazy. If anyone can tell me why this is happening and how to stop it I would be forever in your debt. Thanks

AOL thinks it's the only program on your PC. It's takes your PC over! It's worse than a viru$!!!
