Adding Times

I have a list of times from our call center and we are trying to add up a column of times to get a total time for each month. The sum function gives 0 as the result. I can add each cell together and get a total time (i.e. 01:15+05:30=06:45) but there are over 50 cells in each column. Can anyone help?

Elizabeth,

Check and make sure your column is formated in hr:mm:ss. Then sum your 50 or so items. To do this... select your column.... then "Format"..."Cell"..."Time"..."Type"...."37:30:55". This will take into account a sum which is greater that 24 hours.
