Copying font attributes in a formula

Has anyone discovered a way to copy not just the contents of a cell but the font attributes of that text as well?

I need to have a cell on one sheet automatically mirror a cell from another sheet.

Use Format Painter to copy any formatting from one cell to another...

-Click on cell(s) with format that you want to copy

-Click on the Format Painter (little paintbrush in your toolbar)

-Click on the cell(s) that you want to copy the format to...

Sorry, I don't think I explained my problem correctly.
I don't want to know how to copy the formatting and contents manually but rather I a cell on one sheet to exactly mirror a cell on another sheet "automatically". In other words when I type something into "sheet1!A1" and change part of it to bold or manipulate the font size I want "sheet2!A20" to look exactly the same.
