FORMATTING NUMBER CELLS WITH A + SIGN

Posted by Richard on January 14, 2002 9:16 AM

One of my co-workers has a need to display positive numbers in a worksheet with a + sign, just like you can format negative numbers with a - sign.

Can anyone tell me if this is possible and still keep the field as a numeric field?

Thanks in advance.

Before I go home...

Put the string below into the cutom format section - just click on the text bar at top right.

+#,##0

Custom format the cell using... +0;-0;0
