Undo "Merge & Center"

Posted by Drew Earnhardt on November 01, 2001 12:11 AM

Friends, I've "Merged & Centered" a passle of cells,
only to realize that I muts undo them. So, I took
cells in columns A,B and C, and made them one cell
in one row only.

Does anyone know how to undo this?

Drew,

Select the cells that are merged, right click your mouse and choose format cells. Select the 'Alignment' tab and un-check the Merge Cells box.

Just out of curiosity, what's a "passle" ?

From "Pile of Hassle". A passle is an adjective to describe any tedious or annoying task. For example: "Oh no, I have just deleted all my SDM changes because I forgot to save it, what a passle." but probebly being used as a collective. (NT)

THANK YOU, FRIEND, thank you ever so much!
A 'passle' (I may have misspelled it) is
slang for a 'group' or a 'bunch'.

"Upon entering the strip-club, he was
instantly approached by a passle of beauties,
coyly offering him lap dances...".

Or, "When he lowered the tail gate of his truck,
she saw a passle of chopped wood, and knew
that he had not gone to the strip-club that
afternoon...".

I thank you all, my passle of friends who have
unselfishly helped me to un-do the 'Merge &
Center' deal.
