DGET function etc.. are not workingg

i am using the Dget function.. i have five diff programs using this formulas but i am having problem with one.. it does not execute the Dget function which is working in other programs.. the conditions are the same.. but its still not working

Is your calculation set to manual? Check
the Calculation tab using the Tools | Options
menu command.
Is DGET evaluated when you press F9?

calculation is set to automatic.. the Dget functions cannot find the items given the condition, the conditions and correct and the item is in the table still it cannot find the item

specific info about data and criteria to be of much
help.
