Linked Cells

I have a sheet that pulls cells from another sheet. On the sheet I am pulling from, there are some cosmetic text lines, which I don't need in the other sheet, but can't get rid of on the original sheet. Is there a way to tell Excel to only display numeric values from the range that I have linked?
