Rounding to the nearest penny

Posted by Al P. on May 27, 2001 6:42 PM

I have a formula in cell BA70 that returns a value of $23.8325 I would like to round that figure to $23.83. I need only 2 decimal places because it affects a dollar amount in another cell. The formula in the cell is =sum(B70:M70)/4 I tried using =mround(sum(B70:M70),0.01)/4 But it did not work.

Thanks in advance Al P.

Hi Al P
You were close. Try using =ROUND(SUM(B70:M70)/4,2). There is probably a neater way to do it but this works.
