Sorting out weekly Sales

I would like to know if there is a way that I could pull out the sales of each salesmen by setting a from ---> to date. Each person enters all thier quotes into a seperate sheet in the workbook. Once they make the sale there is a macro that they run to send it to another sheet where all the salesmen data is sorted and finally goes to a 3rd sheet where all of the relvant data is shown. Is there any way that I can find out their sales by setting a from -> to date and it will tell me their sales for that period.
I could really use the help, and if you have any question I'll trying and clear them up.

A bit of clarification

Sorry, I forgot to mention that when the sale is made the put that date in and that is used as a sorting mechnism and carried over to all the other sheets

if you use the SUBTOTAL function (not the SUM function) using 9 as the first arguement, it will subtotal only visible cells...... so maybe if you then filter between two dates, it will only add up that particular guy's sales

I often put the subtotal at the top of the page, with freeze panes, so I don't have to keep scrolling down

was this what you might have had in mind ?
