VLOOKUP Problem!!

how do I Lookup values from a list where there are more than one of the given value in the first column? For example, if I want to Lookup 5 shortstops in a certain position and the first column is the position. I want to do this in consecutive cells down a page. example
shortstop player #1
shortstop player #2
pitcher player #1
1st Baseman player #1
shortstop player #3

Gary: Why not use a Pivot table instead. you can make the position field a Page item.
