Changing negative amounts into positive.

I am presently working on a budget, where sales are reflected with a minus sign. I know I can make this a positive number by inserting a row, and multiplying the cell by -1, or by going directly into each cell and removing the (-) sign. This will be very timely since there are alot of cells.
Is there a way to convert from negative to positive within the same cells with a formula or macro?
I'd appreciate your reply.

Try putting a -1 into a blank cell, copying that cell and paste special / multiply to the values that need conversion.

You could highlight your column and hit control F for the find function
Type in a hyphen, hit replace, and then replace all.

If you have exclusively negative numbers, you could put -1 in a cell and copy it. Highlight your column and paste special multiply over it.

Good luck.
