comma delimited text files in excell

Posted by C.F. Jackson on March 05, 2001 10:50 AM

Would appreciate information on how to save an excell (*.xls) file as a comma delimited text (*txt) file. It appears my option is a tab delimited file.

Any info will be appreciated

Thanks,

Have you tried saving it as a *.csv file ?

Maybe a bit more work, but you can read in a tab delimited file in a text editor (e.g., Editeur on Windows, Jedit on MacOS) and replace tabs with commas.
