Comments Boxes

Can anyone tell me how to get the Comments boxes to stretch accross three cells. I have three adjacent cells which all require the same comment. The spread looks ugly when the three comment boxes are open

Who can help ?

Assuming they're always visible, could you right click on them then just drag two of the three so that they just sit ontop of the third ? This would result in 1 box with three little arrows pointing to each cell...
