CSE array question

Is it possible to select an entire column for use with CSE's, I.E., $A:$A

Hi Carl,

The answer is no. The reason, to my knowledge, is unknown.

But, you can do what you want to accomplish by using a named dynamic range, for example, by using the name of the range in the array formula.

Thank you Aladin.
I was trying to use a CSE with an entire column and was getting either #Value or #Num error. I did change the named range to reflect a portion of the column and it worked like a charm.
