delete last two characters

I need help in deleting the last two characters in a field.

I transfered some text data into excel and the credits copied over with "CR" at the end. I want to delete those.

Any help is appreciated.

You could do a find, replace witht he proper row or column selected, in find put CR and in replace, leave blank.

Yes, but this would still leave the ' labelizing character at the beginning of each entry. Try recording a macro that starts at the top cell in the column, invokes edit mode (F2), does two backspaces to delete the CR, then HOME to the beginning of the input, and DELETE to remove the apostrophe. Then enter, down to the next cell, and repear.
