I know there is a way to put parts of a worksheet side by side in Excel, but is there a way to open two files side by side for viewing (split screen)?

I'm not sure if this is what you mean and I don't know if I say it right cause I've got the Dutch version of Excel but go to the menu next to "Help" it might be called "vensters" then select the first option "All vensters.." and then select "Next to eachother". I don't know if I used the right terms for it but it's something like that! I hope that's what you meant?

On menu bar ,select Windows>Arrange and pick what you want
