Find last filled cell in formatted sheet

I have a worksheet that is formated from A1 to approx. BC1700. And, I have only used 650 lines for input.
I need to quickly (shortcut key) find the A column cell of the last inputed row. CTRL+END will take me to BC1700. I know that I could just page/scroll down, but that would be to easy !
Any hints appreciated.

ctrl + downarrow
or
doubleclick the bottom of anycell in Column A
