Floating cell with totals in it

I am trying to get a cell displayed on the screen that will show the running total of a table of figures. This cell must stay visable on the screen even if the screen is scrolled down to add more figures.

Have you tried freezing the window or splitting the screen?

To freeze a window (from Excel help):
Keep row and column labels visible as you scroll
1 To freeze the top horizontal pane, select the row below where you want the split to appear.

To freeze the left vertical pane, select the column to the right of where you want the split to appear.

To freeze both the upper and left panes, click the cell below and to the right of where you want the split to appear.

2 On the Window menu, click Freeze Panes.

To split a screen type "View two parts of a sheet at the same time" in your Office Assistant help (there is some graphics in the help that I can't paste onto this board).
