How can i share my excel file to more than one user on my office network?

the one way that can i understand which is this that i have to put my excel file into source safe but i haven't permission for this.

n i have to share my file that it can be access by multiuser at the same time or user can lock the file when he/she want to edit the file.

so guys can u tell me how can i do this.

You need to do either of the following:

Put it into a shared folder on the network, from here you can work on it and so may others, you can set permissions on the file so some people can only read it, some can write, and some have no access e.t.c

Alternativly you put it on a folder on your computer that you are willing to share, or create a new one, then change the sharing permissions for it....... I would tell you how but I need to know which windows you are using, its ususally a right click, followed by sharing, then choose who you wish to share it with.
If you do it this way it can be accessed by people simply going to your computer in Network Neighbourhood and your folder will show up as a shared resource.
