Individual Cell Gridlines

Posted by Ken Brading on October 26, 2001 7:57 AM

I have a spreadsheet that has a few cells with the
gridlines turned off while the balance of the sheet
has them turned on. Gridlines for the entire sheet
can be turned on/off with the
Tools>Options>General>Gridlines toggle but how do you
turn them on/off for individual cells? I can Copy
and Paste Format them and Clear them away but this
technique seems like it is skirting the correct
technique.

Probably not what you're looking for, but you can put a border around the cell and just change the color to white...

If you set the background color of a few cells to WHITE, the grid lines will dissapear.

It was the background color turned to white. Thank you for your help.
