Limit in Excel Cell

When I have about 250 caracters in an Excel cell I get the ##### signs.
How can I increase this limit

response: Excel limits the width of the cell to 250 characters, or pretty close to that. The limit to the amount of characters in a cell is 1024. I am guessing you need to put a carriage return in the string to make it work. Hope that gives you some help
