Open an excel file

How can I open an excel workbook directly from a dos prompt? I want add a command line to open a workbook in my batch file.

you can try:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Excel
that is where it installs by default. another way to be certain is to right click on your excel icon, select properties, click on the general tab, and it will tell you the location of the program
